DESCRIPTION:
rpgo-CharacterPaperdoll is a World of Warcraft addon that helps grab the character profile picture.

USAGE:

  • 'pic' button. CharacterFrame->Pic Button.

  1. Install the AddOn
  2. Open Character Info "C"
    character info: normal
  3. Clicking on this will make your CharacterFrame extremely large.
  4. it removes all stats, attributes and resists to get a clean screenshot
    character info: enlarged, ready for screenshot
  5. once your toon is standing the correct way, hit [Print Screen] to get your screenshot.
  6. after taking your screenshot, the CharacterFrame will go back to its origional size
  7. convert your screenshot to a jpeg. dont resize or crop it.
  8. then upload your CPP data and screenshot here.


if something is wrong, clicking on 'pic' should restore the origional CharacterFrame size & position

there might be issues with CPP and various addons that adjust Frame scaling... we'll deal with that as reported. our testing with different resolutions, UI scales and other things... it seems to work perfect.

SAMPLES:
the samples below show the avatar and profile pics from different WoW resolutions and screen resolutions. even at poor WoW resolution & detail, the image processor makes the images with fairly good detailed, and it compensates for odd screen scales (i.e. image distortion from different aspect ratios)
