A quick How-To guide for installing addons.
The following works with all addons we provide. Our Addon zip files have directory structure, so they should be downloaded into the WoW Install Directory, and extracted there. The following is mostly for windows users.
Please note: my install path is "C:\Games\World Of Warcraft\".
The default install path is "C:\Program Files\World Of Warcraft\".
Download the Addon
First download the Addon.
click the download link, and you should be prompted to save the file
Save the file into your WoW install directory
saving the addon in the WoW directory
browse to your WoW Install directory. default for this on Windows:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\
Extract (install) the Addon
Verify the Addon files
Just to make sure they are in the right spot, check and verify the Addon was installed correctly »
